About the artwork
Qin Feng’s art is a medley of philosophy and skill - an artistic combination of cultural energies that pay tribute to each other and erase divisions. Unconstrained by convention, the artist worked with paper, cloth, ceramics, installations, acrylics and even created his own inks, brushes and paper in his experimental pursuits, which creates fascinating textures and experiences for viewers. In this work the artist uses quick and bold brushstrokes, capturing raw energy and dynamism through his visual poetry. His methods of innovation led to an almost spiritual journey of pursuing art beyond boundaries, and have made him one of the leading avant-garde artists in China.
