About the artwork
Linked together by a winding heart-shaped path of musical bars, this piece carries Coplu''s whimsical style with his signature themes surrounding love, music, and harmony. Depicting a couple on each end of the canvas, they become conjoined through their own instruments - the violins interwoven with musical bars. Filled with scattered notes of white daisies and colourful hearts, this surreal imagery speaks to Coplu's clean lines and soft brushstrokes in acrylic. With these organic forms, Coplu's attention to love is reflected in how we can express ourselves in acts as natural as making art together, linking us in communion with each other.
