Sergi Cadenas is a self-taught Spanish artist who began painting at the age of 30. Known for his innovative lenticular-style technique, he constructs large-scale canvases with vertical ridges, painting distinct portraits on either side. As viewers move around the work, one image seamlessly transforms into the other—an optical illusion that demands extraordinary precision and patience. Cadenas is currently dedicated to creating large-format portraits that explore identity, perception, and transformation. His works are held in international private collections and are also part of the Porrentruy Optical Art Museum (POPA) in Switzerland.
