"Lotus Tian" reimagines the mandala as a star-like lotus form, radiating with symbolism. An iridescent blue vortex shimmering like the waters of Venice anchors the center, surrounded by lotus petals in pink, purple, and green, symbolizing purity. The artwork's outer edge is a breathtaking display of meticulously arranged butterflies, forming the points of the star-like structure. Each butterfly, with its intricate wing patterns, seems poised for flight, suggesting a sense of transformation and the ephemeral nature of existence. 

About the artist

Annalù’s artistic practice is a poetic exploration of movement, metamorphosis and the delicate balance between fragility and strength. Working primarily with resin, Murano glass and mixed media, she creates ethereal sculptures that appear suspended between formation and dissolution, challenging the boundaries between the physical and the intangible. Butterflies hover weightlessly in space, glass petals shimmer with movement, and organic forms seem to crystallise in moments of extraordinary transformation.
