Cast in bronze with a characteristic smooth sheen, the figure confidently balances on their forearms, legs arching gracefully overhead. Gunawan's signature rounded forms and endearing features imbue the pose with a sense of playful determination rather than strenuous effort, resonating with the accessible and holistic approach often found in Singapore's wellness culture. This piece embodies the fusion of discipline and inner joy that yoga promotes, suggesting a lightness and equilibrium achieved through dedicated practice. It's an engaging reminder that strength and serenity can coexist, captured in Gunawan's distinctively charming and contemplative style, appreciated by those seeking balance in a vibrant, modern city.
