Awaken Goodness, 2019
Bronze, 60 x 26 x 24 cm
About the artwork
As Adi Gunawan profoundly notes, "Goodness lies dormant within us all. This sculpture serves as a reminder to awaken our innate kindness and let it guide our actions." In this heartwarming bronze piece, one of Gunawan's tender, rounded figures gently interacts with a small, equally endearing companion animal. The scene is one of quiet affection, where the soft touch and mutual gaze embody a pure, unadulterated compassion.
