About the artwork
In Sarkasi Said's "Happenings," a vibrant tapestry of urban life unfolds along a tranquil waterway. Buildings in a spectrum of soft hues line the waterfront, their reflections shimmering on the gentle ripples. A collection of boats, each a unique splash of color, rests peacefully, hinting at the stories and journeys that unfold along these shores. The scene evokes a sense of community and shared experience, where daily life intertwines with the rhythm of the water. This piece invites viewers to imagine strolling along the waterfront, where whispers of romance mingle with the sounds of daily life, and where every corner holds the promise of a new encounter. It is a snapshot of urban life, a glimpse into the heart of a community where every moment is a story waiting to be told.
