LP - Sands Of Time
Batik, 80 x 139 cm
About the artwork
In Sarkasi Said's "Sands of Time," a dynamic composition unfolds across a canvas of swirling whites and grays, like a whispered memory emerging from the depths of time. Bold strokes of black and vibrant yellow slash across the center, creating a sense of fleeting moments captured in the amber of eternity. The abstract forms suggest the ephemeral nature of time, its passage marked by subtle shifts in texture and hue. This piece invites viewers to contemplate the preciousness of each passing moment, a reminder that love, like sand through an hourglass, is a treasure to be cherished. It is a meditation on time's relentless flow, a poignant reflection on the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of mortality.
