About the artwork
Within the "Monochrome Series," Suardana Kacor’s "Red space" is an arresting visual exploration of a fantastical ecosystem, bathed entirely in shades of crimson and pink. This acrylic on canvas piece (85.5 x 95.5 cm, 2024) presents a dense, textured landscape where various animals—from elephants and tigers to deer and rhinos—coexist amidst monumental, otherworldly plants. Kacor’s intricate dot-like brushwork lends a tactile quality to every surface, creating a pulsating, unified field of red that speaks to a primal energy. The monochrome palette strips away conventional realism, inviting a deeper contemplation of form, connection, and the raw, unadulterated essence of nature’s wild heart.
