About the artwork
Rujiman's 'Play In Colour' beautifully captures a sense of dynamic harmony with its portrayal of koi fish swimming fluidly around each other. The artist's use of a palette knife and impasto technique not only adds a tactile dimension to the scales and fins of the fish but also imbues the entire composition with a vibrant energy that aligns with the "nature of play" in the artwork. This energetic movement, coupled with the rich and varied background colors, evokes the joy and fluidity of fish in their natural habitat, yet elevated through artistic expression.
