About the artwork
In this sculpture, a young girl is sitting atop the head of a giraffe, whose horns grow into delicate tree branches with blooming flowers. The soft pastel colors and flower motifs create an aura of freshness and innocence. The blooming flowers evoke a sense of harmony and accentuate the symbiotic relationship between the girl and the giraffe, representing the natural world. Wu Qiong’s works celebrate child-like purity, expressions of love and beauty, and living as one with nature.
