Everyday Life [P113621], 2023
Silkscreen and Mixed Media on Paper, 55.9 x 76.20 cm
About the artwork
"Everyday Life" by Mr. Brainwash features a chimpanzee perched on a Coca-Cola crate, holding a spray can, with Campbell's soup can imagery, a clear nod to Andy Warhol. The artwork also subtly references Banksy's influence through the use of animal symbolism, graffiti-inspired techniques, and the subversive use of commercial logos. The chaotic layering of imagery and stenciled figures further reflects Banksy's street art style, creating a commentary on consumer culture.
