Thank you Straits Times for featuring us in this article detailing our virtual art initiatives during Singapore's circuit breaker. During the past 2.5 months, we have worked hard to adapt to this new and unprecedented situation, and are determined to keep evolving with the times to bring you the best art possible.

During this period when physical interaction and movement was limited, we were delighted to bring our friends of the gallery new and exciting events such as a Facebook Live painting session with Scottish artist Ronnie Ford, and virtual art sessions with our esteemed artists Wu Qiong, Rainer Lagemann, Coplu and Adi Gunawan. Through these events, we wanted to give viewers unique insight into the artists' space, especially those living abroad, and to provide them with an exclusive opportunity to learn from the maestros themselves about their artistic background and process.

We were also determined to assist the local community during this unprecedented and trying period, and did our best to support COVID-19 relief efforts with a Facebook Live Charity Art Auction. Through the overwhelming support of the participants, we managed to raise over $60,000 to support Singapore-registered charity MWS in their COVID-19 relief efforts. We believe that art has the power to unite and uplift in times of struggle, and our art community truly proved this to be true with their generous support.

Thank you as well to everyone who joined our online art events so far and we hope that you enjoyed them! While we’re excited to welcome you back into the gallery, we also have more exciting online events lined up for the coming months, so stay tuned! We can't wait to see you both online and in the gallery very soon.
