This poem was written by Tang dynasty poet Wang Wei and is entitled 《山居秋暝》or Autumn in the Mountains. The entire poem is: 空山新雨后， 天气晚来秋。 明月松间照， 清泉石上流。 竹喧归浣女， 莲动下渔舟。 随意春芳歇， 王孙自可留。 It translates to: The verdant mountain becomes more tranquil after the rain. The sense of Autumn's arrival grows stronger as winds blow. The bright moon scatters its shiny glow among numerous pines. A clear stream murmurs over pebbles as it flows downward. Washing maids return, fits of laughter are heard from the bamboo grove. Lotus leaves float while fishermen paddle their boats. The fragrance of spring has long disappeared, yet I'm still lost and anticipating a long drawn-out show.
