Lim Tze Peng writes “还我河山” which translates to “return me to the rivers and mountains”. In this piece, he uses fluid strokes that resembles the flow of the raging rivers. He uses a combination of strong and gentle strokes to represent how the current of waters vary. On the left, the characters painted almost resemble the shape of the mountains. Lim uses firm and intense strokes to embody the strength and sturdiness of the mountain.
