Lim Tze Peng writes the first line 谁家亭子傍西湾 of the poem 秋山林木 or the Mountains and Forests of Autumn by Yuan Dynasty landscape painter and poet Huang Gong Wang. The entire poem reads: 谁家亭子傍西湾，高树抉疏出石间。落叶尽随溪雨去，只留秋色满空山。 Translated, it reads: To whose family does the pavilion bordering West Bay belong, tall trees are scattered amongst the rocks. Falling leaves are swept away by creek and rain water, leaving only autumn colours that fill the empty mountains.
